I don't like it..it seems a little...plain..
Maybe duplicate the cut out layer, smudge it, and put that layer on softlight.
Then make a new layer, put it on top, make a lens flare where it look like the light is coming from on the render (i would say top left corner) and put that layer on screen.
Then put in some c4d but put it the layer its on on screen, and put the opacity down, the layer should be like above the bg but under the cut.
