Would it be a more accurate rating of your skill if you are able to instantly form a cohesive tactical unit with a number of randoms as opposed to a team you've practiced and developed tactics with?
On the flipside, it could also more accurately reflect your expertise if you are able to develop those strategies as a team and impliment them against any variety of opponents successfully.
Most likely it will lower the intensity of ranked games as people won't be able to use complex tactics that require higher degrees of teamwork. It will also prevent teams from obtaining padded stats by facing rag tag teams of randoms.
I pretty much stick to player matches anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter much to me.
Of concern to me though, if the system and lag are the same as SR, from what I've seen, that's going to be rotten. *crosses fingers* |
