Music and video games don't breed violence, but they do fuel it.
If some kid is pissed off, depressed, mad at the world, etc and then starts playing violent video games and listening to hateful music then he could be more influenced to do violent things. However, music and video games alone don't breed violence.
I know tons of people who play violent video games and listen to violent music, yet they don't go around beating up on people or go on shooting rampages.
