Really? Well what exactly did you download? Everything is contained in zip files so all you have to do is scan the file before you unzip it... lol.
But yes, most people just uninstall it, reinstall it, enter the keygen, and it seems to work. But if you're willing to pay for it (yes it is cheap) then I'd go that route.
