Okay, well I had the pleasure of waiting at my local Wal-Mart at 11 tonight to make sure I got a copy of GH2 for 360. Although I had to wait an hour for it (and the 10 others with me) it was well worth it.
This game, has been polished so much from the PS2 version, it's not even funny.
The graphics are better. The sound is MUCH MUCH better. I don't know what exactly was done with the sound convertion, but it sounds a shit-load better. The lighting effects are better. The crowd reaction is better (you will actually feel like a rockstar
). When star power is engaged, it just feels and looks better. The controller is so much better than the PS2 controller...just feels so much better (and I can actually get half way through Jordan consistantly now).
This game is a must own. I've been playing it for 2 hours straight now, and haven't had any skips, glitches, freezes...nothing. This game, is literally perfection on the 360. The new tracks are okay, but honestly feel a little like they don't belong...but maybe that's the just getting used to it part.
Only downside to the game - wired guitar. In this generation, I would expect to at least get a wireless controller for the 96 bucks I spent on the game, but DDR suffers from the same problem, so I can't complain much on that aspect.
Overall - 9.5/10 Buy this game...now...right now...like, run out and get it...NOW! (Get the point yet?)
Also, I'll be putting out some gameplays as soon as I find my camcorder charger, so be expecting!
