At it's core, Oblivion is not a pure RPG. It can be classified as having RPG elements, but when I saw the game, FPS instantly popped into my mind...
Not trying to start shit here, it's just the RPG's I enjoy are very J-based. Final Fantasies, .hacks, KH series, Chrono series, etc...all based off of the classic RPG foundation. I don't really like games like Fable or Oblivion so...
