well, exactly what I thought, but what the hell difference does it make if you have to wait for your turn vs. fighting in real time. That seems like a retarded reason for something to not be an RPG. Either way you are still fighting, and carrying out a story that is not classified as: Racing, FPS, TPS or any other category. Its not like you can just run around like a madman and constantly swing your sword in any real time system. There is still strategy in choosing when to block, when to cast certain things, usage of extra items. I don't think either style is any less fun to play necessarily but the distinguishing factor just seems petty to me. |
