As for VII...I tend to stay away from this argument, as it usually becomes heated very fast. VII made RPG's mainstream, and even today is one of the most influent games in video gaming history. It set a lot of standards for how an RPG should look (Cut-Scene's, emotive scenes within the game...hell, people will actually admit to crying during the Aerith death scene...before that game, that was something I've never seen done). | see thats the thing, im guilty of loving that first mainstream FF, lol, by all means you are so right, FF VII did make it mainstream, and was so influencial, and i know some ppl that cried during the aerith death scene, lol. OMG the old black and white ones, wow i need to get those, good days man, back when gaming was GAMING.
