its not about recapturing what i felt, cuz if it was, it has been done again recently, ever play the kingdom hearts games? the same feelings and emotions the first FF's i ever played arent the only games that capture those feelings and "nostalgia" u speak of. its not about that, and thats not what im basing my opinion on. hell even playing shadowrun and GoW give me a certain nostalgia of competition and certain emotions i totally zone out, its not about the feelings the games give u , thats an entirely different discussion, you can get lost in the story of so many games, im just looking at all of the elements of the game, "the combat system", leveling up, etc... etc...
