For 3's and 7's shizit you have to do up-down strumming, then after the green notes there are 3 or 4 (can't remember exactly how many) power chords and just down strum those.

The mosh part isn't really all that hard, most people just over-react because it looks like there are a million notes and they seem random. They aren't really all that random.

There are 4 note patterns, all you have to do is keep your cool and keep the pattern down, and if you can't keep the rhythm very well then I suggest that you just keep strumming.

The 4 notes are ascending from orange up until red, then ascending from blue up until green, then there is a 2 note chord, then the same pattern.
