Music and video games don't breed violence, but they do fuel it.

If some kid is pissed off, depressed, mad at the world, etc and then starts playing violent video games and listening to hateful music then he could be more influenced to do violent things. However, music and video games alone don't breed violence.

I know tons of people who play violent video games and listen to violent music, yet they don't go around beating up on people or go on shooting rampages.

I dont think they breed violence.. I think you already have to be violent for them to effect you like that. I do think they bring out an aggressive side of people esp. when they get mad at it. hahaha

I don't think it breeds violence because I've been playing first and third person shooters my whole life and I wouldn't even think about killing someone at school or anything.

I listen to death metal and black metal but you don't see me going around killing people, eating bodies, or burning churches.

i think it is stupid how someone even thought of this. I definitly disagree and think that violence isn't coming from the video games.

no...i definently saw you on the news last night...:

anyways, back on topic. i recently did a report at school on this topic and from what i came up with video games do not cause violence, they are a way to release it. you must already have the violence before you play the game. its just when the kid does something bad and is taken to court for it, the lawyers need some way out, some loop hole. therefore all they can find is the video game, mostly violent. but thats not even half of a paragraph i put on my paper out of about 15 paragraphs.
