| God said thou shalt not lie down with another man, nor an animal. Thou shalt only lie down with a woman. Thou shalt not lie with your neighbor or your neighbor's wife. Thou shalt not lie with your siblings. etc.,
PS: I'm wiccan. The Goddess loves all her children no matter who they lie with |

Wicca is thus sometimes referred to as the Old Religion. The veracity of Gardner's claims cannot be independently proven, and it is thought that Wiccan theology began to be compiled no earlier than the 1920s.[2]
Various related Wiccan traditions have since evolved or been adapted from the form established by Gardner, which came to be called Gardnerian Wicca. These other traditions of Wicca each have distinctive beliefs, rituals, and practices. Many traditions of Wicca remain secretive and require that members be initiated. There is also a movement of Eclectic Wiccans who do not believe that any doctrine or traditional initiation is necessary in order to practice Wicca.[3] The 2001 American Religious Identification Survey estimated that at least 134,000 adults identified themselves as Wiccans in the United States.[4] | |

Thing is, he is the gayest man I've ever met. And he hates gays[the ones that are WAY how do you say.... "OH MY GOD those shoes are cute"](the guy I'm talking about is my friends brother and one day he just 'woke up' and was gay. By all means he is not a poser, not trying to start any bad blood, but he is gayer than alot of 'gay' people I've met, which granted isn't to many... |

| I believe this is nothing more than a mental illness. I think it was Example(a former moderator here, or maybe still is a mod) gave some very great points which changed my ways of thinking on this subject. I never really thought about it the way he had described it, but it made much more sense then anything I had read up to that point.
When you look at most gay men's behaviors, have you ever noticed they seem to act, a bit feminine? I believe being gay, simply changes your state of mind into thinking you are the opposite sex; thus making this into a mental issue. Same thing goes for gay women, they seem to act more masculine, like men. |

| I don't think you're born with it. Homosexuality would be a behavior more than anything else. And behavioral traits are brought about more dominantly by someone's.....ummmm.....habitat(?) (i.e. their past, their surroundings, their upbringing). So, basically, fife is correct in a sense. Its a result of a mental issue that they, at some point or another, had to deal with either consciously or subconsciously. That problem then manifests it self as homosexuality, depending on how each person deals/dealt with it. I think alot of homosexuals would deny this in an attempt to ease their minds from the thought that there is or was something wrong in their lives that may have swayed them, but its the truth. If you trace back each of their histories, you'll probably find something. Whether they had abusive parents, an overdominating mother, an overly submissive father, an inferiorty complex caused by any one of thousands of things, or they just felt that they needed attention or some sort of change in their life. I'd be willing to bet you'd find something like that on all of them if you dug deep enough.
