|  Who is the noob? What makes a noob?
I was wondering what people think about calling other people noobs. Is it really needed and should it be said?
What makes a noob anyway? A stupid gamer, a new person to something, a person who is full of himself and calls other people noobs becuase he is really good?
In other words: Discuss on the use of the word "noob"

Noob - A noob or n00b is someone that lacks intelligence or common sense, most people think that noob is a word used only in the online gaming world, but in reality it is becoming an ever popular word with teenage society.
a noob could be simply a level 100 running round shouting ''WTF DO I GO!?'' or someone calling someone else a noob and then getting hit with a brick, anyone can call anyone a noob, but normally they are noobs themselves.
EDIT: Here is a sentence that the word noob can be used in.
"Hey Darkstar, what's a noob?"
"Noobs are awesome, not to associate with, but to laugh at and stuff.

I agree with most of that.
IMHO I think It should be divided- newcomer, and noob
A noob is a asshole of a person who insults and doesent know what he's talking about. He is new and just acts foolish and pretends to know everything.
A newcomer is a person who is new to something. Plain and simple.

Similiar to panchochesecak, here's what I've heard/know.
Noob-New to the game and is real stupid. They act like they know how to play and are very ignorant.
Newb- New to the game. Real cool. Will listen to people's advice. Doesn't get on your nerves.

actually i was playing online the other day and i heard the orgin of noob came from a mortal kombat game. The person said that it came from some character that was super easy to beat so people started using it online. Can anyone confirm this?

noob is someone new to somthing whether its a game or job or w/e
or its someone who isn't very good at a game
