Do u find yerself spending as much time muting people as gaming? Do u find yerself in games of lil kids team killing, shrieking, or trying out for American Idol(horrible singing)? If these things bother you half as much as they bother me, I might have the answer for u. I'm a member of a ADULT group of gamers. We don't consider ourselves a clan, more of a mature group of gamers that prefer to game with people our own age. Our age limit is set at 21, but several members are much older. This age limit is set for several reasons, at age 21 most people have the screaming and complaining out of there system by then. Also most of us don't wanna feel like a petifile every time we get online. So youngins don't be offended, this isn't a bashing of youth thread, this is to show ADULTS where to get games in with other ADULTS. With good people to game with, the gaming experience multiply's ten fold. I write this, just to spread the word, and allow more adult gamers to enjoy gaming again. If u feel this is a group for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message, or just reply and I can point u in the right direction.

A clan by definition is a group of gamers who plays competitively through brackets, ladders, tournies, etc...

Having friends of the same interest to play with is fine, but limiting your selection of members based on age will inevitably kill you.

By definition, according to webster, a clan doesnt have to be a competitive group. The Celtics, myself included, formed a group/clan/brotherhood, whatever you want to call it to play for fun and have no intentions of playing competitively. I think the key phrase here is a group united by common interest.

Also, there is a difference between being taken as a serious clan and a casual group. If you don't care about this, then that's fine, but it does exist.

Woah, I'm not over 21, but I know that if I was and was in a 21+ clan, I would hate to get my ass handed to me by a bunch of teenagers....plus, you'd probably lose your wife.

This topic isn't meant to bash the youth or anything like that. I'm a older gamer and like to game with people my own age. I don't really see it being a problem. I'm sorry if you teens are taking offense, It's not all about screaming, and immaturity. it's just a place where mature older gamers can get together, chat, share ideas and most important game.

IMO this is a great idea, I can see the thinking behind it and people who're complaining about the idea, maybe this is the type of nature they want to avoid. Obviously they want to find mature people to play with, just like at school you hang around with people in your own grade or thereabouts.

Having the age limit acts like a filter preventing immaturity seeping into the clan.
