| What do you mean help? Just play a game, find decent players, ask them if they want to join. Then start a clan on gamebattles, and play other clans. |

| Well I'd suggest thinking of a name for your clan.
After you do that you should recruit.. I've noticed recruiting not working so hot for new members on this forum so I'd suggest maybe while playing Live to ask some of your teammates (depending how good they perform with you) if they are interested in joining a clan. Don't get your hopes up. 90 percent of the time they'll probably say no but if they're cool people and you get along with them who knows maybe they'll join. Also if you already have some good friends who you play live with ask them to either join your clan or make a clan with them so everyone is some kind of leader in it.
Another problem with clans is that they have trouble keeping in contact and usually the clan is disbanded rather quickly. And since its not like halo 2 with a clan list and the dashboard doesn't have this rumored clan blade yet I would suggest a website if you could. Hell even a free website like a .moonfruit.com would atleast let you guys keep in touch when off of live. Also Gamebattles like Enjoi said.
Next to that its really just pref. such as what game you play, strats, etc.
Hope I helped atleast a little.

| IMO, finding players is much more important than figuring out a name, because when you do that, it's like you start out as a clan. You can't think of it that way. Some of the best teams I've seen in the past started out just playing with one another as friends and then one day thought "oh snap, let's make a clan," and it worked out great. If you start out with the mentality that you're a clan and you need to have responsibilities, people usually don't want those responsibilities and the clan doesn't work out.

The clans that stay together longest and perform the best, are the ones that originated from 2 or 3 friends and expanded from there. So basically...
1. Find friends that can thoroughly pwn nubs
2. Pwn nubs aongside them
3. Say, "Hey! We pwn nubs! Let's make a clan!"
4. Form said clan
5. Find a name under which you may further pwn nubs as a group
6. Recruit others who have the ability to pwn nubs
7. Join a league and pwn teams of nubs
8. Gain fame and glory from pwning nubs
9. Continue to pwn nubs as a clan

| First you need to establish what kind of clan you want. Whether it be casual gaming, hardcore gaming or competetive gaming.
Then you need to think of a name that best suits your goal as well as your personality. You can figure this out after you aquire your main base of players, naming it after the attitude presented in that particular group. Also this will be the "image" you want to present.
Next you need to figure out how many members you want. If you do competetive gaming, you need to figure out how many main players you want, and how many "backups" you might need. This really depends on what your setup is, what games you're playing, and what your personal preference is. (I strongly suggest not falling into the "KSI" trap. That clan is so horrible, and they have a huge playerbase of crappy players. If you want to be taken seriously, dont' go that route)
Now you need to figure out who you want to include. If you know people already, that's good. Start some tryouts. If you don't, then start advertising yourself. Let people know up front what your goal for this clan is, and go from there.
If you want to go toward the competetive aspect, then you need to set up some sort of website or forums to get your clan out there. This also gives your potential clan members easy access to signing up or at the very least contacting you. This website also presents your image as well as the name.
Another thing.. if you're doing competitions... you really need reliable people. I cannot stress enough how irritating it is when you show up for a competition (whether it's something like gamebattles, or if it's a real tournament) and your main players don't show up. That's why you need a fill-in team just in case blowouts like this happen.
Lastly.. have fun with it. Even if it is competition, it's still supposed to be fun and healthy. If you find your clan members duking it out or getting irritated with each other, I suggest replacing and finding new members that work together. Team work is the key.
I hope this is a good starting point. At the very least, I hope it helps get you thinking and on the right track.

I'm not supporting KSI or anything (I was never in a KSI clan), but its not like the original leaders PLANNED on having ten million gamers steal their name.

Oh I know. But you have to realize that the gamers that were in KSI legitimately were bad. I came across maybe one decent player while playing H2. It seems KSI died a fiery death, since I've only run into one, maybe two in H3 (definitely not complaining) But KSI was widely known as the clan who let anybody in as a member.

For the most part.
