| nothing is for sure yet, they just said they were going to look into a controller that can compare to the keyboard and mouse. probably because games are going to be cross platform in this gen.

| I don't see anything revolutionary coming out. Nintendo's Wii has taken the prize for best controller versatility I think... FPS? Point it at their fruckin head and shoot. Can it get any easier? Hmmm, maybe not on the wrist/arms. I'm still waiting for the release of a game where you can use the controller horizontally like a sponge or lengthways as a hose and you can hose and sponge soapy water at women/cars/caged birds/kids sandcastles. That's right, another brilliant idea from your rusted friend.

| OMG! Thank you! I freakin' hate the analog sticks, I just can't aim when playing Halo or any FPS. |

| Probably a touchpad DS style or a trackball. It's just too tempting to mash the analog all the way to the side. If a thumb planted on it let you move within the middle 50% of your screen and you had to slide in a direction completely once to reach the farther sides or top/bottom it might be an improvement. That'd involve a lot more coordination and movement though. A trackball or touch screen would make it easier. If it's something along those lines and shows promise, I'll probably give it a whirl. |

but apart fromt ha wat can they actually do to improve a allready dam comphy and nice controller | |

| The huge problem with the 360 controller is that the start button is way to close to the X button. When you are playing Halo and you try to BxB or BxR you accidentally can hit the start button if your thumb slightly slips. I have heard many complaints about this.
