Its all about control. There are plenty of people who do well in school and play video games all the time. It isn't that hard to do if you realize that school work should supercede video games and just do your homework before you play games.

There are professional video game players who balance school and gaming, and it is their job. You should have no problem.

If you guys can't handle video games then don't ever do drugs.

For me, no.

Considering the thread title's incorrect grammar, I would say it does.

Yeah I think it does effect us look how you spell effect (affect).

Yeah it does if you pay more attention then school, which some people do, even I fall into it sometimes.

You musta been thinking about going home and playing Donkey Kong when they taught you how to spell effect in 1st grade

Only thing playing online with people in video games does in my opinion is make a person more out spoken and not afraid to shit talk in real life, I don't know but ever since I started gaming like a religion, I have been more aggressive to assholes in my school or out around the mall and shit, plus you get to learn a lot of lingo that no one understands, and that is always a bonus to shit talking

Now for school work, I can usually still pull of 70s and 80s if I mix gaming in with my work, but its always the final exams and ISUs that screw me over, which brings me down to 60s and 70s, its easier to mix games with work and shizzle, but once you try to mix it with tests and finals it does quite a bit of damage, I found that out the hard way this semester thinking I could just breeze through but now I am near failing, I can bring my marks up to at least high 60 percent. soooo I know for next semester I got to buckle down

Gaming has never affected my schoolwork. So for me, no. For many others, yes.

I think it does affect your schoolwork sometimes. Thats why i try to restrict myself from playing only during the weekends or when i have nothing else to do. Now i have a 3.9 GPA in honors
