my yule present came early. it arrived at our doorstep yesterday afternoon and i have just had the chance to pull it out of the box. its a dv camera with 3CCDs and has outstanding resolution. i am currently trying to learn the manual controls of the camera so i can better the shots/colors/picture. below is a short clip i took outside moments ago (first thing i recorded with the camera [alyssa is asleep]). i was gonna try and do some color corrections in vegas but decided not to. i just added some music...

i can't wait to plug some footage into vegas and mess around with it. this camera has already blown me away, and with a price tag of around $650, i should!

(i should have color corrected, but wanted to see what it looked like straight from camera. there are manual ISO settings in the camera, but i havent messed with them just yet)

What kind of camera is it? 3CCD is pretty good stuff.

I have a Panasonic 400, similar to yours.
