ok ive never played a single final fantasy game but i have an urge to get into the story. So ive decided this winter break, im going to beat every final fantasy up to date.

unfortunatlly im going to need some emulators for a few, and i think im going to need a ps2 but other than that i should be good.

so if you (my fellow forum members) would lend me a hand in finding first few i don't know many their is so im ganna need some help and gimmie some tips too.

one question how many hours will this take?

The first 6 you can get on discs. $40 in two trilogies brand new.
So you really only need a ps2. I actually have them still.
(Along with my ps2 even though I've only played jeopardy on it in the last year.)

I don't know about mystic quest or tactics though. Good luck. That's alot of gaming.

Thats quite a challenge u no each game is like a mission 2 complete but have fun trust me u will be hooked on them once u get in2 it i played and completed FF7 bout 3times and played it non stop 4 like 4/5 years

Are you even going to play FFXI? The online FF? That doesnt really have much story to it, but it will consume alot of gaming time if you do play it.. and like it.

WOW. I will give you a medal and a cookie if you do it. You need a gamecube also, final fantasy crystal chronicles or something like that idk. But i HIGLY doubt you can beat all of them in a week, or a month. Youll have to play like way more then 10 hours a day, at least.

I don’t mean to sound negative or anything but I doubt you will beat more then 3 games in the 2 weeks you will have. Some of em can take more then 30 hours to complete, and if you try to speed run through them you won’t enjoy it. I suggest you stick to one, two or maybe even three if that’s all you want to do over the break and enjoy the games to their fullest.

And if your going to play Final Fantasy 3 use a emulator and get the translated Japanese version… That’s as hard as it gets… No in dungeon saves.

If you got a Gameboy you can get tactics or you can emulate it. If you emulat make sure you go with the GBA version of the game. Right now I am 210 hrs into it and am 10 quest away from 100% completion. Its a good game for car trips so I recomend the GB version.

lol you guys make me laugh i have over a month of break im in COLLEGE!!! so i have plenty of time and no homework to do. So ill be playing early mornings for like 8 a day 5 to about 1 then from 1 to about 3 ill run 3 to 9 ill go out and do something the rest is all sleep.

you guys underestimate my rpg greatness too i once beat Legend of dragoon in 5 hours. thats right 4 disk game 5 hours its gatta be some kind of record.

Then I give you 5 or 6 games at max. Unless you cheat there is just to many games to beat. It's not so much as long as they take it would be more of an endurance thing. That much of the same type of game is next to impossibe IMO.
