Default Computer! HELP!

Ok, so with the money I got from christmas and what I have saved up, I have decided to get a new computer. I want a high-end gaming PC that can also do video editing well. The comps. from stores cost too much so I want to build my own. I dont have alot of experience with computers and don't know exactly how to build one but I am determined to do it. I have online guides, basic knowledge, and some friends form school that can help me do it. I just have a few questions about it.

1. Do you think, realistically, that someone with fairly little computer knowledge would be able to build a WORKING computer.

2. For the parts listed below, how much power will I need to run this.

3. Here are the parts I am looking at getting. Are they all compatible with eachother?

4. Is anything I've listed unecesarry (meaning I can get buy with spending less)

It's one of the cheapest dirx10 i could find, unless im just stupid. i havnt decided whether to get a dirx10 card now and just wait for it to be used or get a decent card now and upgrade once most games are being produced with it. and yes, the mb has sound on it

you do have a sound card right o.O and your mother board and case are compatible?

I don't think that a person with relativly little computer knowledge could do but do alot of research on it. And if you feel you can do it try. But if yor getting to frustrated goto a computer store you might just break the parts you bought.
