Anyone play guitar here, like myself? I've been playing for over a year and I improve just about everytime I play, even if it's slight or major. I own a Fernandes... A strat maybe... I dunno exactly. Right now I am looking at an Ibanez GRX 20. Cheap, but for some reason I like it. It provides a nice metal sound, which I want.

I took a class in school and wished I had continued it through lessons but never got into it again.

Keep improving, it is a great and rewarding skill. You should record yourself playing and put it on here so we can hear you .

Thanks. I'm still not spectacular since I really don't practice enough, but I can play. If I find something with good quality to record with, I will. I hope I can get some money for that guitar...

are you ordering it from that site or just using it as a reference? Ive been playing guitar for 7 years and personally, id never order a guitar over the net/magazine. You dont know the feel, proper sound etc. If youre getting it from a store make sure to go nuts on it with the whammy bar and see if the tuning junks out on yah

My most recent purchase is an Electra guitar, (Electra electric guitar that is[Electra is an old brand that stopped making guitars in the early 80's])

It's really nice. I can use it for anything really.

I have a yamaha pacifica lol. It was the best sounding at the pawn shop.

I've had others, but this is the only one I've kept throughout the years.
I had a Dean Mach 7 that sounded sweet, but I never got into the 7-string as heavily as I thought I would.

My next will be an acoustic, but if I were to go for an electric right now, ummm, I don't remember the name, but if you watch the Silverchair "Abuse Me" video, it's the one Daniel Johns is playing. That or an Ibanez. I like the sound and feel of them.
