Lately I have been getting lag and I was wondering if there was anyway to improve my connection. Could I forward my ports or something?

I do remember I switched routers.

On my first router my connection was better (I remember forwarding a port)

On the 2nd It was worse, I couldnt even get host in Halo 2

try calling your isp and say ur connect is going slow they might be able to do somthing

have u tried updating ur modem's/router's firmware to the latest version?
u could be lagging if ur on ur pc downloading/uploading something while playing online.

uhmm buy a decent connection maybe? loool just contact your isp see what they got to say about the situation if they wont do anything lie to them and say your a pro gamer and your going to mlg soon and the lag is seriously effecting your abuility to play so if you lose at mlg its there fault

i would sugest plugin you 360 straite into your modem ensureing NOTHING else is turned on on your network and have a look at your xbox360's NAT settings if its on OPEN then you should be fine from your end and if you still lag contact your ISP.
