Devs have been saying that the PS3 is hard to work with from the start so this isn't very suprising when you think about it.
Valve being a PC developer discredits and credits them at the same time. They are a PC game dev team, not a console one. So because of that you could say their opinion doesn't matter much. But PC games are actually harder to make than console games because of the fact that everyone's PC is different, so if they say the PS3 isn't good then there's got to be some truth behind it.
But either way, a respected dev saying that is a real punch in the balls for sony. | |

I don't really care whether Valve is a good console developer or not. It just matters that they're a good GAME developer so these do damage the system's credibility even if they aren't coming from a directly related source. But Verde does have a point, it would be much worse if a company like Square came out and said this. Then the PS3 would be losing one of the system's major support beams gamewise and be discredited to the general public.
