Anyways, projectors are great if you have a home projector and not a business or educational model, as they are made for different uses. The projector we use has a 480p native resolution with w 16x9 native format...perfect for Hi-Def gaming and movies. |

and yes if you have the projector in your home and its a home thearter one it works wonders for sure just need it dark enough
and angel the 480 stuff wtf my old one could do 1125i but not any P settings just I i used to run it at 1080i and to be honest call it preferance but on a HDTV games seem to sharp on the edges i prefer the projector coz everything clear and crisp without the razor sharp edgeing (im comparing this to my 32" HDTV btw) | |

As for the 480p stuff, that is the projectors native resolution (kind of like a standard NTSC TV in 480i - or standard definition) but it can upscale to both 720P and 1080i. I run both my 360 at 720P and my PS3 at 720P, and for Blu-Ray movies, it's absolutly rediculous...like, unbelievable good. |

And the reason I keep it set at 720 is because most of the PS3 games out currently max out at 720. Only NBA 2007 and Marvel can do 1080P I believe...and I believe they only encode their games in progressive scan and not an interlaced signal...cause I know when it first launched, games would do 720, but not 1080i...but they might have patched it since then, but I'm too lazy to care about it. |

| | | Guest | ah ok didnt the PS3 dwngrade games instead of upgrade or sumthing i think i remeber reading thats sumone posted it here.
also i only notice the slight blur bcoz i must of been used to 1080i So when i put it on 720(wen i lugged my girls box into it first time) it looked weird to me.

| I find progressive to have the sharper picture, even though you might have more with 1080 (360 can't take 1080p I think.)
Sorry that I haven't posted any pics, I've been away. I'll try. |
