Bass Guitar?

So, I plan on buying a bass guitar, but I have NO clue as what to buy... as I don't know anything about guitars...

So does anyone know some good brands? Good guitars?? Good anything???

Have you ever played a bass before fif3? Well i dont really know much about basses but i do know about guitars. I think a good brand is Gibson.

Na I haven't, but my friend wanted to start up a band and wanted me to see if I could learn to play a bass, and I got money so why not?

gibsons are good guitars but as far as basses go there not really worht the money you will shell out for it.

a good solid bass with good tone that i would recomend is the musicman

those are some basses i would recomend but your best bet is to go to a local guitar center or music shop and just try out the basses and get the one that sounds best for you and feels good to play.

Lol ok well first off fif3 if your looking to spend 1-10k go with a gibson lol. If you want something considerable ask me on aim. I can direct you toward a couple brands of good bass's for begginers. Gibson is truley a great line of guitars but there to exspensive honestly. I play electric guitar I have a Epiphone G400, because i couldnt afford the 1k model gibson but its typically the same guitar. Anyways I need to know some preference before directing you towards a brand. So like i said AIM me and ill see what i can find. AIM: Brutal venomous.

You have to really enjoy playing bass to stick with it, so I wouldn't recommend just purchasing one out of the blue. There isn't a lot of music known for bass lines, and the unfamiliarity might be a turn off.
I played bass when I had to, but it was never something I got psyched about.

My favorite bass lines would have to be in Wynonna's Big Brown Beaver - Primus. If you've never heard it, listen to it. If you aren't a bass enthusiast though, you are just wasting your money. Especially if you already play guitar.
