|  Death of a 360 - a recurring tragedy!
Guys, I dont know about you but I am fed up with my 360 dying on me about every 6 months. As of today, I am faced with the death of another 360 console. The old dreaded ring of death - 3 blinking red lights- WTF is going on with these damn things. I'm sure this topic has been posted before but I am interested to know just how many of you have had to have your 360 repaired at least once (sent in for repair) and please share if it has been more than once. Your thoughts would be appreciated as to the quality aspect of these units. I dont play an aweful lot (not nearly as much as some people), my console is well ventilated, I take great care to keep it dust free and do all the things I feel should be done as with any piece of electronic equipment. This is the second console. When my first one died about 6 months ago, they sent me a replacement. Now the friggin replacement has crapped out and I am once again faced with returning it for repair. This is way too frustrating...............your experiences and thoughts please??

i bet if you opend it up u would see nothing but dust insde all over everything evan clogging the fans.
wen i first took mine apart about 5 months after i had itt o firmware i couldnt beleave how much dust c an get into wat seems to be a sealed unit.
its more then i have ever seen inside my pc
oh ye this is my third im on now it did red light but i fixed it as my warrentys gone from the modding lol | |

It is frustrating man. I have had to send it in three different times already. If it happens again im not stoping until i get a brand new 360 and then some. The 360 is an awsome gaming console but they are peices of shit!!!!

Yeah, im on my third one right now. I sent in mine the first time back in november. By january, the replacement had broken also. They were trying to say that mine might be getting hot from being on top of a tv but its one of those gigantic projection type ones that are really sealed. Either way, it was freezing before i could even make it to the dashboard so it was not hot at all. Im not even going to be civil if this one breaks. Its no longer on my tv but in an entertainment center. I will be getting a brand new one or some compensation. I still have my original xbox since release date. |
