its really not that impressive...i just bought a 360 finally...like yesterday.....but this doesnt bother me...i wont fill up the 20 G hard drive much less a fuckin 120 G.!!!...as for it being a cool black color...i could care less about the color of the damn console.....and i dont have an HDMI t.v....so thats pointless....this is more for ppl who dont have a 360 yet......and who have HD t.v.s..... | |

Sorry to bump an old thread guys, but do you think it is going to be hard to find a 360 Elite in stores on the release date? Do you think it is going to be a mad dash to the store and camp outs the night before? I plan on getting one and would like to have one on the 29th, but I would just like to know if I have to camp my ass out there or get there early in the morning. Have you guys heard anything yet? As for HDMI, i posted this in another thread. Get a fucking 20 gig PS3 off of ebay. Itll be like 20 dollars more, but this is why it is WAY more than worth it:
All the games you have are maximum 1080i. This is displayed with component cables, which are bundled w/ the premium 360. To view 1080p (which is what the HDMI is used for), u need HD-DVDs used to their full potential. Since you don't have this with the elite, you need the HD-DVD player, bundled separately, which is 200$. So far, you've spent 679+$ (because you are going to resell your premium). You could get a fucking 60gig PS3 with BUILT IN BLURAY FOR LESS THAN THAT!!! AND STILL HAVE YOUR 360 ASSWIPE!!! AND A BIGGER HDD FOR UR 360!!! SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN, EH!????? Because Blu-Ray players are mandatory HD-DVD players also, they output 1080p, with INCLUDED HDMI.
And if you really want a black 360, get a dev kit. Youve delt w/ ur white 360, why the need to change.. really. Its not gnna matter.... and if you still buy this after what ive just said... im sorry but.. YOUR A FLAT-OUT MORON.

do u really need that much memory on a damn 360??? honestly are u gonna fill up all the memory on an elite? just cuz its black ur gonna go get it? microsoft is making more money off of fools like that.im have a REGULAR xbox 360....and thats more than enough....
