| Guitar Hero 2 breaking xbox 360's? Well, I got GH2 about a week ago, and played it on my "unbreakable" xbox 360 (or so I thought since I've had it for 2 years and I haven't had problems with it) for about 2 hours and right when I turned it off and back on, my 360 got the three red rings? uhm... ok, so I had my 360 for 2 years, it's about time it breaks anyway, but it still sucks.. SO lemme ask my brother if I can use his newer one that hasn't had any problems. He let me have it because it seemed newer, why would it break? Well guess what... Popped my GH2 disk in, played for a few hours, and this time, I didn't shut it off... It froze on it's own! Turned it back on, 3 red rings. Coincidence? I think not. A couple of my friends from XBL have also been experiencing similar problems..
1. Venomous bought Guitar Hero II and played it on his recently fixed 360... A few songs in.. His 360 froze and wouldn't turn back on.
2. My friend Lef7y from Halo 2 got GH2 and played it on his 360.. Next day I get an IM from him saying his 360 broke and he will only be playing his xbox from now on.
3. Senn BMz's 360 has been freezing oftenly since he bought GH2.
Just a thought, and I'm warning people that GH2 could POSSIBLY be ruining 360's.

| It's impossible for a game to break your 360. What is possible is if you play it for so long, it over-heights, and the solder on the GPU/CPU seperates, causing the box to throw 3 red rings...
O, and Venomous's Xbox was hardly "recently fixed" unless you consider wrapping a towl around it fixed. |

| Nah, I play games longer then GH2 so it's not that it was on too long. It might be the Guitar plugin or something, I don't know. But it's been happening to a lot of people that play GH2. And Chris, I know you're going to try to stick up for GH2 because you like the game a lot as well as I do, but it's happened to people with regular xbox360's too. I don't know what it is, but it might be GH2, so don't say it's not a possibility.

| | | Guest | LOL jsut do what notz does
WEN IT RED LIGHTS PUNCH THE SIDES A FEW TIMES
it works a charm lol
it could and most likely be over heating problems what with going towards the summer months with HOT HUMID air its gna do some damage sucking it in all the time along with the 360's natural heat source lol
sumne should try sitting the 360 infront of a AIRCON unit and play the shit out of it see how smooth it runs | |
