After Effects 7 crashing???

Ok so I've been to MULTIPLE forums in hope to resolve my issue with Adobe After Effects 7 repeatedly and constantly crashing. It dies either the minute I open the program, or try to save/render/preview my project.
Here's the error I get after it quits out on me:

I have reinstall the program multiple times, but it still continues to do the same thing.

Please, if anyone knows ANYTHING that could possibly help me here, I'm in desperate need.
This has been the only thing in the way of me finishing my GoW montage, for the past 2 months...

defrag your hard drive with the program on.

CLOSE EVERYTHING possible and only have AE runing and make sure you have sufficient space on your HDD
