Can you transfer the achievements from an offline profile to an xbox live profile on the 360? Because my friend really needs to know...

I typed it here because there's no other support forums and nobody goes the the General Discussions for the 360..

As far as I know you can't transfer achievment points to another profile the only way he could keep the points would be to create an xbl account on the profile with all the achievment points

umm im not sure. i did sum thing to that effect. when i got my 360 it broke so i had to get a memory card toback up all of the information. when i went to his house i save all the shit from my hd to the memory card. then i went and saved all the shit on my memory card to his hd. i gave him my cod profile. when he went on cod he got all of my achievements i dont know how but it worked so mabey u can try sumthing like that

When I made a new account on my 360, like an offline one for my friend he automatically got all my achievements, so I think that if you could copy those files on a memory card, you could bring it to your friends house and give him your achievements lol, thats probally how all the people with over 25k score do it....

You could transfer them with a memory card or just change your name and not get a new account.
