You want to post like a pro and or gain respect follow these guidelines...
1.) Don't post if you don't have anything usefull to say.
2.) Read the previous posts so you don't look like an idiot for posting the same thing as the guy right above you.
3.) Think before you type, it makes you look like less of an idiot.
4.) Links are always helpfull
5.) Use the search button before starting new threads to help cutdown on reapeat threads. <<< Big problem for a lot of sites*cough* H2F *cough*

6.) Cook your posts rare and by that i mean keep the flameing low, there's really never a good time to do it, but mix it in with some good opinoins & backup statements. Don't call people noobs or stupid, simply state what you think then say something like i don't agree with you. Unfortunatlly there is a time for flaming and that should be taken up on msn, or aim then posted later on for a funny convo on how you tore this person apart.
7.) Try and go more in depth in your posts, go into detail with everything within your posts
8.) Be yourself within your posts the thing most people respect on the forum is you for being yourself don't try and be something your not. Basically act how you would in real life
9.) Never end a post without a witty statement or a smiley
