| Guys, I saw a UFO. Okay. Me and a bunch of friends stayed over a friend's house last night. We weren't planning on partying, we wanted to see something. The kid who's house we were staying at, Frank, has been complainging about lights in the woods behind his house for a while, but no one really ever gave it much thought. He told us that the lights appear above the swapms behind his house almost every night between 1 and 4 A.M. Well, last night, everyone layed in his back yard in sleeping bags, just waiting to see them. We ended up telling stupid ghosts stories to get everyone scared. Ya know, trying to point out sounds in the woods, since it was so dark.
At about 2:40 A.M., my friend Kyle started buigging out, and pointed towards the trees. I couldn't beleive what i saw. Out above the swamp was a huge orange light. It wasn't suprisingly bright or anything, but it was very clear through the trees. It was hard to tell exactallyhow wide it was, but I sure know it was big. I walked along Frank's property, trying to judge it's distance and/or size, but the trees made it hard to do so. But there wasn't just one light, there were smaller lights in the forest, too. They looked like stars were twiinkling in the woods all over the swamp. In about 2 minutes, they started to slowly vanish. It took about 1 minute for it to completely disipear. We were all scared shitless.
But of course, it didn't end there. We were paranoid as hell, so when we heard something rustling in the woods, we started freaking out all over again. Kyle got a metal pole and walked up to the treeline, just trying to prove to us that it was an animal or something. He sat there and waved his hands and screamed, and nothing happened. So he turned aroudn and said "See guys? Nothing." Right as he said that, what we thought was a wild turkey screamed. It scared the shit out of Kyle and it was funny as hell.
It kept screaming, but it sounded more like a growl than a turkey gobbling. It hept screaming the same pattern of screaks over and over again every 30 seconds or so, followed by a shrill growl every time. I tried to "mimic" it, by cupping my hands and blowing to make a sort of high-pitched bird call. This continued for a minute or so, until I messed up and recited the pattern way out of order. Then, the turkey/creature/thing copied what I had just whistled. I kept whistling diferent patterns, and it kept repeating me, getting closer each time.
Eventually it got really close to the treeline. We thought whatever it was was going to come out into Frank's yard, but another one of them started screaming a little ways back, and then another. The first one answered back, and their screams got more violent, until one screamed so loud it sounded like a duck or something. After that, we heard them run off into the woods, and we didn't see anything strange for the rest of the night. I know it was probably turkeys or something, but it was pretty damn scary, after seeing all of those lights. It makes you paranoid.
I'll be back after work between 10 and 11, so I'l explain more then.

| Wow! lol thats was an awesome story, kinda freaked me out just reading it. I love it when stuff like that happens. Like my friends and i were at this place called the Nower Wood, its like a mssive hill with just shit load of trees and paths etc. Now there was some famous WW2 battle in the woods somewhere where alot of people lost their lifes. Anways just walking along the treeline was the scariest thign ever. One night like 5 of us said we are gonna go in. I will tell you now, sounds stupid but the adrenaline running through me was immense. Every little detail is picked up. Its pitch black dark but kinda like a third sense you know where everything and everyone is! its bizzare. Anyways it was all quite and we were getting further in and as we started to brave up a little, we heard some noises up ahead like rustling noises. It stopped so we moved on. We must been right up to the point when we heard the noises when, all of sudden this rabbit or hare whatever it was jumped the fuck up and onto my friends leg! Seriously was the scariest moment EVER! but when we somehow sprinted through these trees somehow not hitting one of them. We all just lay down on this grass patch and laughed for so long! we shit ourselves over a rabbit lol Sorry to post like a beast reply, youur thread reminded me of that one night!

| I've seen an unexplainable light in the sky before that was fast disappeared into nowhere, my mom saw something just like you did, except it was a white light.
That's crazy, but if I were you, I'd go out there again tonight.
