 Home Network Help Needed
Heres the deal. My step dad asked to to try and set up a home network. Plus the fact we need to transfer most of his files to my comp as a backup. I suggested slaving but he wants me to set up a home network. Now when I set it up, one computer will not display a shared network folder. It also cannot join the workgroup and I do not know how to add a computer through mine. I have everything going through a router so maybe that could be the issue? I tried using a crossover cable to do the file transfer part but no good.
