|  .::Official Movie Review Thread::.
Hello T360F Members,
This is going to be a Universal Movie Review thread. I am going to start out with 2 New Movies (still at theaters), rate them from 1-10, and edit this post each week (removing 2 movies and adding 2 movies). I will try to keep the reviews brief, as I know people hate reading page long posts.
I am going to start out with The Davinci Code and X-Men 3.
The Davinci Code
I had several different feelings after seeing this movie. I thought it was a little cheesy, however somewhat clever, and an overall thought provoking plot line. The acting was piss poor, not one of Tom Hanks best, but that did not get in the way of enjoying the film, that much. The best part about the movie in my opinion was the hints and clues that are figured out throughout it. The worst part is when an Albino Monk, who participates in self-inflicted punishment to forgive himself of sin, goes around killing people with various knives and weapons. It was a 9 hour movie compacted into a 2 hour film. The director took a childish idea (i.e. National Treasure) and mixed in the Holy Grail and tried to make it an epic. If you like history and have a LARGE imagination this movie could work for you, but other then that it, most audiences wouldn't like it.
I give it a 3/10 (for bad acting and poor storyline)
X-Men 3: The Final Stand
This movie was one of the best Movies I had seen this year. It had superb acting, awesome special-effects, and a strong underlying theme throughout. It turns X-Men from not only a Blockbuster, popular mainly with kids, and turns it into a strong Oscar candidate with a wide range of audiences. The special-effects could be some of the best ever, topping Revenge of the Sith and Fantastic 4. It's underlying theme, in my opinion, was that although somebody can be different, we shouldn't "cure" things that some people look on to be imperfections. In the last installment of the X-Men Trilogy the battle evolves into not only Mutants being able to fight other Mutants but humans being able to compete with them, now that they have a "cure." This was by far the best X-Men movie and it competes with some of the old Star Wars Classics.
I give it a 8/10 (for good special effects and plot)

Not a bad review, but I think they could of been a little longer, and spoiled some of the movie (I mean nearly everyone here saw Xmen 3 already), and they could of been more descriptive and used better wording. But they were enjoyable to read.

You should go see the omen the update this. I want to see it but it might be another stinker like most new movies coming out *cough* see no evil *cough* hahah they should have named it "see no movie"

the omen is actually supposed to be very good...supposed to be way better than original and one of the best scary movies this year...got great reviews almost everywhere i've looked, including ebert & roeper!

okai so far the movies i seen that are new and are still in movies are
POSEIDON = 7.5/10 unrealistic but good movie very suspenciful movie and sad at times
Da vinci Code = 9/10 great movie listen to it from the beggining to understand it all
X-Men 3 final stand = 9.5/10 amazing movie but they needed alot of tombstones for that movie lol
The Break Up = 9/10 reallly really funnie movie to go watch with like ur GF or sumthing its really funny

Even if it sucks i still get in for free because i know half the people that work at the theatre HEHEH  . Its just if it sucks ill start complaining how i just wasted an hour and a half of my life like i did for see no evil lol
