Work was slow today. With a little boredom, me and my friend steve came up with an awsome prank. We tried it out at work today. It's pretty funny, but the way the prank works is what really makes it cool.
Here's what you need:
1- Two cell phones that can have unlimited minutes with each other, such as free nights and weekends, family plans, etc. (you'll need alot of airtime for this) Cell phones that last long on betteries is a good idea also.
2- A car that has a "remote key." By this, I mean a car that has remote control lock/unlock/panic buttons. The more sounds your car can make, the better.
3- A parking lot or some place where people frequent where you can leave an empty car. Also, the better the service in this area, the better this prank will work.
Now, here's how the prank works:
Find a good location to leave your car. A parking lot near a Mcdonalds is what I used. The car was parked right next to the door.
Start a call between the two cell phones. Leave one cell phone inside the car.
Find a place where you can see the car, but people near the car can't see you. I went into the shop where I work when I did this. But you can be ANYWHERE. We did it from 40 miles away, just to make sure it really works.
Wait until someone approaches your car. Hold your remote key up to the cell phone and press the Panic/Alarm button. The sound from your key will travel through the phone line and activate the car's alarm. Yes, you can lock/unlock your car from ANYWHERE in amreica over the phone. If you don't have perfect service, it may take a few tries, but the alarm will go off.
From then on, just use your imagination. For example: when you press the lock button for my friend's car, the horn honks. It's hilarious to watch people's "wtf!?" reactions when they walk next to an empty car and the horn beeps. We got a few people to drop their food with the horn and the alarm.
Have fun guys
