|  Wireless Internet for Laptop :: I need your help please
Ok, so I've had my laptop for about 6 months now, and I've never had any problems with it. It has an internal wireless card that has worked perfectly. Then about a month ago, it stopped working. I didn't think anything of it until I got wireless internet in my house, and now I can't stand to direct connect to the wall all the time. If anyone has any idea why my wireless card isn't working, or knows how I can fix it, please AIM me immediately. I have rebooted it, gone through troubleshooters, refreshed, etc. Nothing works, i need help! |

Well, you may be missing a driver for it, but if you rebooted(by doing that do you mean restoring it back to factory condition?) then that should have fixed that problem, but if not try restoring it if you have nothing to loose on it. Otherwise, I don't kno, because I have a wireless laptop too, but I bought my notebook wireless g card seperatly. Mine just recently stopped working too,(wat a small world, lol) and I had to update the driver so I thought that might be it... | |

i dont know much, but i know on most laptops i have seen.. They have a wireless button, to enable and disable...check that..maybe you hit that..and turned it off

And as for "my recent behavior" I've done nothing wrong but try and clear me and my companies name up for what happend the other day.
I've done nothing wrong, and if you and your "community" you have here is so close and mature, then I'm sure you would be willing to help out regardless.

well im not to sure about that but w/e
u should try
1)reformatting ur laptop
2) CHECK that the wireless adapter is activeated in ur network settings
3)if it is active after all of that then check the dns adress and ip config u might b getting a local ip clash | |
