Yeah, you're right. I'd be like a shop where lots of people are looking for something and it looks busy. But nobody's actually buying anything and they never come back either. Sure looks busy though...

That is why this place is the way it is... meaning,
A little sub-par compared to other 360 sites when it comes to the number actual members that POST. We aren't big at all. Most of our registered users came from h2f (please correct me if I am wrong.) I would say realy 200 max active members. Again that is hard to tell for me because I don't memorize everyones names.

On the other hand, we have a good community. (Thanks PDZ forum for the majority of those people.)

I think that Z doesn't give the TOP mods enough power, like

hosting vids- I saw a handful of montages (with shitty host) that weren't offered a 360f host. Because Z will never see it. Even though with a host, it displays tons of advertisements(z = $). But he does make an Announcement for a 2 week old demo video. Didn't we get one of those before the Demo was on the Marketplace?... Ya, thanks Octavion.
making sections- It seems we were a little late on making all those new sections. Maybe to avoid having to wait for a forum full of posts, the mods should be able to make a section when they know there is interest in the game. Even if the section has just a couple stickies with "Official Plays xgamex thread" or "Official xgamex Help thread." then a couple discussions on the lag or what not lol. lag... Maybe I am just a neat whore.
affiliates- Since Z hasn't done it. This is like free advertising.

I think hosting vids is a big thing. Like when I came to this site, I'm like, sweet, 360 vids!

But I go the video section and its barren.

If you want something on the this forum, you have to look for it.

So another step is like, everyone try to talk to Z on AIM and just nag him to host vids, and as members we should record more gameplays. Cuz theres like a total of 10 working gameplays on this site and then a buncha montages.

I agree with the vids sections too and also with the mods possibly organizing games sub sections (they have a life too y'know). I mean, I originally found the PDZ forum because of it's amazing montages and footage. I like many people, wanted to see footage and all that jazz. I mean I downloaded almost EVERY montage for PDZ AT WORK on a 128K modem. Don't know how I got away with it but the vids were good. The info was good. The community was great so I stuck. And now I'm here and I'm seeing less community, less vids and more jumbled threads.

Mind you, I still love this place to bits. But we ARE discussing the problems are we not?

i agree with some of ur points like giving anouther mod or 2 mods the abilitie to upload videos to the host for t360f as the mods are way more actie and on the scene on this forum then Z is.

We also originally had sub-sections/forums for inderivual games b4 and the traffic was lower then it is now and for manegment/hardwork reasons Z re-aranged it to how it was previously but now i talked him into makeing sub sections for the most popular games in each genre and wen those games die dwn they will b replaced by a new popular game and so on

I am sure you know that FTP accounts can be created with highly customizable settings, restrictions, etc. The admin can control EVERYTHING.

Well maybe Z can open up a separate host for just the mods hosting videos? I remember him once saying that he could have 100 different sites and still pay the same bill.

We've gone over re-vamping the forum in the mod lounge. I really do think that the mods should be able to handle the forum layout. But of course, us actually getting in there has technical difficulties...

Awsome idea. We need to talk to Z about this. I understand he is out of town though so this will have to wait until he gets back. Anybody have any idea when that is?

yer fttp's can b made with priveledges like he could make 2 accounts that only alow acces to the one folder the videos need to go in and he can give those accounts to the most trusted and reliale mods.

BUT this all depends is Z see's it as a good idea after the whle jada incodent with just normal mod powers

I could do stuff like thta NP seeing how i use a FTTP for my website so i have experience with the programs. But seriously next time someone is on aim and Z is on hit him up about this.
