Secondly, halo 2 got big off halo 1 because halo 1 was amazing, go to mlgpro.com, look at how many people say H1>h2, WHY?! cause its tru, people play halo 2 only cause of live, i gueanuntee you if hale one was remade to have live, then halo 2 would be destroyed.

Halo 3 is on its own at this point, it diesn't have any games beneath it to rely on.

and as for the event, dont go as far as saying a person hasn't gone to a event yet, you dont kno that for sure

Actually everyone is waiting for Halo 3 because in the trailer is had an Assult Rifle, and if you didnt know that was in Halo 1! Now all the Halo 1 fans think that this game will be a lil like Halo 1 so they want to play it very badly. Bungie knew that alot of fans liked Halo 1 better then Halo 2 so they most likely are trying to make Halo 3 alot different from Halo 2, and more like Halo 1.

And yes i know if Halo 1 was online it would be very popular, but not as popular as Halo 2. There are a few reasons for that too. 1, because if you were a big fan for Halo 1 you would play it on XBC which about 100 people do. Another reason is because Halo 2 was a very easy game to play so it got alot of lil kids into it, because within a few months they could be just as good as everyone else was. Halo 1 was nothing like that, and if they played Halo 1 got RAPED everyday they would stop playing it, and go back to Halo 2.

Well if he went to an event he would know how fun Halo 2 and the many possibilities there are for it. For example make money, therefor he wouldnt be playing 360 games. Because mainly only true halo fans goto events.

L1NK you are right again there. H1 > H2

GOW might be big for about 2 months and that is at max. Halo 3 will be the best game for 360 hands down, no game will ever be better then it. Unless Bungie makes another game for it.

Also yes alot of people play because they wanna go pro. When halo 3 comes out MLG will be huge by then. It already is going on TV in Novemeber. So kids will wanna play Halo 3 too because they wanna make money off it.

CoD2 big for about a week? Did you know that CoD2 actually has one of the largest player bases out there?

And H2 is the only good game on XBOX, so everyone with an XBoX plays H2, but there are so many good games already for the 360 that 360 owners don't stick to just one game.

I have been to an event, and yeah its fun, but so is a tournament for any other game. Listen I was really big into H2, very into the competitive scene (I was beating Solshy, Ronin, Boo, etc. in FFAs on a weekly basis), and I was going to go to Chi 06 and show people whats up, and then I bought a 360 and now whenever I try to play H2 I get so bored and turn it off after one game...doesn't that tell you something?
