That looks like a fan movie to me. Especially as it uses a tiny bit of Halo 2 audio near the end

haha so fake there very litle real acting loads of still images for example the bad guys and that weird room its good that sumone has made this but i dout its gna b a real movie trailer

he creators of HALF-LIFE are warming up to the idea of turning their best-selling PC video game into a feature film. Today's Variety has a story hyping the notion of a HALF-LIFE movie. The timing of the piece makes sense, with Valve set to release HALF-LIFE 2 this fall and undoubtedly earn many more millions.

The thing is, and what Variety fails to mention, is that Valve had been contemplating turning HALF-LIFE into a movie a number of years ago. We know of one negotiation between the company, a film producer, an Oscar-winning special effects man and a major Hollywood studio that fell apart before contracts could be signed. Does Valve now believe the time is finally right for a Hollywood deal to be struck?

only thing i can say is that trailer dnt look to professional so they might not have actually started filming yet and could b a user movie

I was reading in, OXM i think, that Valve have been sent loads of movie scripts in the past but turned them all down because they "sucked".

Im pretty sure this is a fan made trailer, but yeah still looks awesome, well made etc. Id definately watch it.
