|  whats the best youve placed in a non athletic sport tournament?
Yes im just throwing down tons of threads here but anyways i was curious if anyone has done well in a tournament for a non-sport game?
I played magic (ok laugh at me, ty) about 3 or 4 years ago and I got top 8 at a winnipeg pro tour qualifier  lost in top 8, and just got 8th to get into it lol Never really played any video games competitively (want to change that) so cant say ive owned in any video games =( |

My Dad and I won a special edition N64 and 10 games in a SSB tournament.

i think it was 5th me and my partner placed at a massive LAN tourny in Winnipeg as well for Halo 2. We got matched up with a hard team early, and we had no strats for Warlock, which made us lose. If we got all games Midship and Lockout, easy finalists.
That LAN tourny is huge though. The winners of the CS, DoD, and other games gets all expenses paid to WCG qualifying, and big money for winning, especially the CS tournies. And the H2 tourny was organized by Sad Panda Eh. (the pro) | |

i came in 11th for my 6th grade class spelling bee....
this kid from my school came in like 5th in the national one, all we did all day is watch it on espn lol

My friends and I got 1st for eating 10 Chicken fingers in under 2 minutes and earned $10 bucks for it, they were pretty big and its harder than you think. It was at School too during a rally. | |

i have won numerous dart competitions and local bars... won just a few pool tournaments.... won a video competition recently.... won a couple of photo/photo-essay competitions....
next stop...farting contests!
