Ive been readint the bible and came across this and searched it on google. To tell u the trusth im kind of afraid of what will happen

Now my question is, Do u think that this will happen?

Worldwide darkness wouldn't happen on its own let alone because the Bible said it, the Bible should be looked at "contextually" just take morals and such from it don't live it, there is no better place, the Bible is just there to make this place better, not get us into a better place. There is just so many false stories about the Bible and God. Back on the darkness thing, if the Bible said it, what about the people that don't believe in the Bible or even our religion how would they get an explination for the darkness, the people like the Hindus, Jewish, Muslim etc, they would be left in the dark no pun intended. That is why its retarded because the Bible is a sham that fools many people, a lot of people think religion is real, and by all means if it is real and I don't believe it states every good soul goes ot heave, so if this heaven does exist I would be going.

There is also a lot of the stupid stuff like, how in the Bible God killed 2million+ people, and Satan killed like 2, its stupid.

This is going to become a religious debate, I love it.

I don't believe this will happen. The bible has been false many times before and I'm not going to start believeing it now.

It's stupid to think there is a supreme being out there watching us all the time, since the beginning of time without ANY proof or the slightest bit of proof that he even exists.

If the bible did not exist, neither would god or any of his storys today. So you tell me where god came from, inside you? Or from stories in the bible?

If the bible is fake then I dont know who would have the time to make up all the stories. I think that its real because Im religiouse. You nvr know what you can expect in this world.

If u want to believe it then u can, But if u dont then u dont. I just posted this to see what people think. Thanks for ur responses thou.

I chose "Maybe" because I believe in a God and in religion. I also not only believe but KNOW that the bible has been, gee how shall we put it, 'edited' countless times by the Romans and the Catholics and then there's the translation barriers too. So like many other things that are factual in the bible, it miiiiiiiight happen, but like Snix said, you've gotta think about it literally too.

Also in the bible time is a very volitile perception as time itself is only a human perception according to our planetairy cycle, so three days might also mean three millenia in which case the earth would've frozen over or been swallowed up and vapourised by the sun.

Also to about what Snix said with the other religions beliefs and interperetations, there are more than a few interesting consistancies with major and minor religions. For example countless religions have the spiritual entity as multiples of three, (father, son, holy spirit, etc.), a one dominating being and it's opposite, an afterlife and all the rest. I reckon that the God everyone's raving about is actually the same god and it's actually mankind who's made up all the strange and finnicky rules and religions.

The biggest failure of the bible is that the bible is the word of God but written by men. There's your mistake right there, God has shitty editors...

I don't really believe in any religion at all. So I'm not going to believe this. Simple fact is that the entire earth couldnt be in darkness for 3 days, is the sun just gonna turn off or something. Does it need a break after all these years of intense burning?

Lol it is actually 3 days so the world wouldnt freeze. But yeah ur right not everything in the bible is true but u nvr know if it could happen. I dont really know much about all of this because I just started to read the bible so i cant really put a good fight. I think it was be scary if this really did happen. I believe in god and if he made this world I think he has the power to do what he wants.
