|  If Cigarettes Were Outlawed
Let's say tomorrow the every government passes a law banning cigarettes. All cigarettes at every store is destroyed. Cigarette companies are shut down, and all supplies they own are destroyed. Being caught in possession of a cigarette would result in criminal charges, a fine, and possible jail time.
What would happen in the world?

Cigs should be outlawed...then weed would be legalized then every1 would be chill again.
And cigs should be outlawed they actually kill ppl

Oh wow. That would be bad. I smoked for almost 10 years (what can I say...I live in NC aka Tobacco Road), I quit COLD TURKEY in December. The first 5 days were fucking horrible, I didn't leave the house. Thank God for chewing gum and reefer. I didn't even go out on New Years. If they were made illegal people would flip and freak out and possibly kill for about a week. After a week it would be a-ok. But a blackmarket would open up for them, causing more and more problems.
Quitting cigs ws the best thing I ever did.

It would be just like prohibition, but with cigs. Honestly, I don't understand why cigs are legal but weed isn't. I don't do either one, but it seems a little unconstitutional/unlawful to me, given the risks of each.

Crime would increase, of course. Those who were once addicted would most likely end up in jail or end up paying a lot of money in fines.
Oh ya, the gov't doesn't change a lot of things that are bad for us because of a little thing called population control. | |

i think within a week there would be some sort of illegal trade of cigs
someday this may happen, but not for a long time imo

It would make things easier on me, a lot of the people I hang out with smoke whenever I'm around them, some even do worst shit than that. Its not that I mind, its just, things can get a little weird when you're the only guy out of like eight people that isn't smoking. I dont give a fuck though, it doesn't get that awkward for real.

One thing it would be better for the young ones and let me explain. There are so many young parents that smoke and do it with their BABY AROUND or in the car! When i was at walmart the other day four girls where in the parking lot lighting up with 2 babys around. Are you fucking serious??? I wanted to say something but they where all large and i didn't want to be eaten.
And what pisses me off even more is when parents smoke with their window up all the way or barely cracked. Seriously GFTO!
