|  Prison Giving Calif. Inmates Free Condoms...good idea or bad idea?
A new program is about to be tested in a California prison. The Solano State Prison is installing 10 condom distribution machines that will be stocked with 1,200 condoms a week. They are doing this to try to stop the spread of STDS
Technically its illegal for them to be having sex while in prison, but since officials cant seem to stop the act they are trying to stop the consequences. Any thoughts? |

Well if it's illegal to have sex in prison wouldn't handing out condoms just encourage it?
And who's to say they'd use em? Fuck they are murderers and rapists why the hell would they take the time to put on a condom? It's not as if they care about who they are technically "raping" anyways... lol.
Stupid if they let this pass, just gonna be a waste of money. | |

Think of when the drinking age was lowered, but raised again. The government honestly felt that 18 year olds drinking was okay, so they lowered the drinking age. Problem was, instead of people as young as 18 drinking, now the under-agers were on average 14, so they had to change it back.
That's kind of a bad example, but think about it. There's a problem, and this is the indirect solution the gov's come up with. | |
