As you can see, Martial Law has basically been put into action already as of yesterday in "Helena-West Helena, Arkansas." They say its to stop crime but I wouldn't be surprised to see this popping up all over the country. So do you think you would be ready for it if Martial Law went into effect in your state?
I know I wouldn't be able to handle cops telling me I cant come outside even though I'm on my own property.
I would like to think "Hell, No!" in America, but I can not watch the video at the moment. I think martial law is bullshit and will only lead to a large revolt. Unless I am under age, then in no way should anyone be able to tell me when I can't be out. Sure there may be shady business going on late at night but there are also other things maybe related to fun that could be going on. Martial law even on a small scale is never good and only leads to more permanent stances. It will only seem to be an outrage until it becomes the norm. Then it will only serve to soften the blow of the next set of government control until we have heavily armed police patrolling the streets constantly at night forcing us to be in our homes by nine o'clock.

Got to watch the video. That's some stupid shit. Shows the intelligence of the people running the place. Should only take a few citations and rounds in court before the policy goes down.

I think it's crap in this particular situation. Mostly because there is no specific set of circumstances that have led to the enforcement, simply "we have alot of crime". But also because mayors shouldn't have that kind of power. It should be left to state if not national officials only. I mean, there are situations where I can see Marshall Law being justified.
O, and you're not going to see this popping up all across the country. Just because one mayor decides to be a pretentious douche, it doesn't mean there's a national conspiracy.

That is seriously gay. I agree with that guy they interviewed with the hat about how the idea is good, but the police are executing it wrong. I mean that really is bullshit that people can't roam their own neighborhood(s) without being questioned. Like wtf?
