| | | Guest |  Insane Quality FOR FILES SIZE OMG!
ok well i have been playing around with the MP4 x264 encodeing and divx encodeing for montages to see what all the fuss is about.
and i got this video quality for only 9MB in file size BTW THIS VIDEO CLIPS IS 1 MIN LONG. so thats 9mb in size for 1 min of video (most 1 min trailers at wmv are 30-40mb depending on quality)
anyway enough with the chit chat. FIRSTLY DWNLOAD VLC PLAYER FROM HERE!
then DOWNLOAD MY TEST FROM HERE! (RIGHT CLICK SAVE AS IT WONT STREAM)
ps.. let me know wat u think of the quality for only 9mb in file size.

HOLY SHIT! That qaulity is amazing for that small size!
EDIT: Just noticed VLC thinks its 52 seconds long but its only 19

this is not about who's qulaity is better this is about the file size if you want to see good quality i could give u a 480p AVI that would be the best you have seen.
also halo2 is a very easy game to make look good bcoz its simple and bland  .
the point of this type of encodeing is for the simple reason people love to see high qualty montages BUT dont like lw8ing 2 hours for a 150-200mb file to download so this is the arnswer

Ya I noticed sometimes when I use the DivX codec, I can get like 15 min for only 300 MB, and the quality is pretty close to insane... but 9mb for 1 min! I'm gonna have to check this out myslef

I noticed when I play the video, it's only 20 seconds long... says its 1 min, but only plays for 20 seconds then stops...any idea why?

i prefer the MP4 encodeing to this anyway. you should try it fife i bet you could get just as nice quality and not have a huge ass file | |
