well... you see guys. if you're good, your rank advances faster, if you're still having trouble winning, it'll take longer.
For instance, if you have 100exp and 150 ranked matches, you will most likely skip the grade 1, grade 2, ect... Because it sees that you win most of your matches. I'm not sure on how this part of it works, but i know if you hit like, level 30 on something and you're still a low-ish rank, it'll bump you up a rank or two. It's very well designed and i like it sooo much more then halo 2 lol.

Still stuck at LT. I really hate the Ranking system in H3. lol.....Gonna stick with Social Ranks. I'm just too noob to handle Ranked. xDD | |

I think I am a captain right now. Just goes to show how much I play Halo 3 lol.
Edit: Just checked, I am a Captain grade 2, with 326 games played and 195 EXP. Boy, do I play a lot haha. | |

you and me both whitewater. I think I have a few more games than you, but I finally got to a major after playing again for like a month. To me its sad though the guys that are like staff captains b/c they have like 2 or 3 thousand games, over 1000 experience but never get above a 12 or 15 in rank.. | |
