Hi guys. In my utter dumbness, I didn't make an attempt to get the Halo 3 Beta. Today, after playing it with my friend, using his HDD and Crackdown, I noticed this game was really fun as balls. So, I took out his HDD, put in mine, and downloaded the Halo 3 Beta to my HDD using his copy of Crackdown.

If I go out and buy/rent a copy of Crackdown, with the Beta already downloaded on the HDD, will I be able to play the beta without his copy of Crackdown?

not sure i think so notz had a copied version and i gave him my legit version and he is using it just fine

yep it will work fine it doesn't malke a difference what copy of crackdown u use aslong as there is a crackdown disc in your box.
