Don't know bout anybody else, but on the beta, every so often I see big blue beams of light shoot into the sky and I always think its a sticky but then realise its miles away from me!! Can anyone tell me what that is and why its there or if anyones noticed it.

I think it all depends on the map your on. The only thing I know is the two bases on Valhalla shoot out the signal from the tower, other than that I haven't noticed anything (then again I haven't played for about 3 days).

Yeah the forerunner type bases ive noticed shoot out the beams like they always did in halo 1 and 2. but nothing else that ive seen.

If you go through or remember the H1 and/or the H2 campaigns, there are forerunner structures that shoot beams out of the top of them.

I can't believe no one remembers them. Have you guys seriously been away from Halo that long?

Yeah I noticed that as well you can see those back in h1 and h2 in the campaign they shoot off into the sky.
