If its the IWBYD Skull you want then its the IWBYD skull you will get its in the level called The ovenant. You have to defeat the prophet of truth fight your way through the flood to the exit BUT DON't GO AND COMPLETE THE LEVEL!!! You then jump through the rings in a specific order that i will give in an edited version after i get home and get the numbers i took down to get it.

If you have done the patern correctly then ring s that were offline and not glowing will start flashing from start to finish and the skull should appear at the top of the rise that is the begining of the light bridge that leads to the prophet.
HOWEVER READ THIS IF YOU NO WANNA FAIL!!!!!!

Only one person should be jumping through the rings while the other people if you are trying this in co-op must wait for the person to be done. And the person jumping must be the person to pick up the skull if someone does before that the skull will disappear and you will have to restart the level all over again.

The IWBYD skull allows you to listen to extra game dialogue that was cut out of the game. so in other words it gives you bonous HELPFUL dialogue.

Oh and the Grunt Birthday skull the head doesn't explode but confetty shoots out and you hear kids shouting yyyyeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh. Its quite amusing actually and is a great skull to have on.

And thanks for posting the info Sub, I found it yesterday but I was too busy playing Halo to post it =).

Silver skulls don't give you an achievement only the golden skulls give you the achievements.

Finding all the Silver Skulls gives you The Hayabusha Helmet and finding all the golden skulls Unlocks the Hayabusha body and shoulders. If you want the skull achievements then go after the golden skulls.

Oh and if anyone needs help Send me a Friend Request with a message that you are from the forum and would like some help skull hunting. My GT is Snow Snipr Dave, and i only play Co-op and skull hunt on legendary and i complete the levels that i skull hunt on as well.

That's awful generous of ya... but when I do a skull run it's for the skulls and the skulls only... Normal and speed run that b!tch

For the People who still cant find the IWHBYD Skull:

Location:

The IWHBYD Skull has been found! After countless hours from the Halo3Planet Community, we finally present you with the location of the final skull, the IWHBYD Skull!
The Skull is located in the level, “The Covenant”. After defeating the Scarabs, and going inside, get to the location with all 7 Ring Holograms. You must jump through the rings in a specific order.

That order is as follows (1 is at the entrance, 7 is at the end):

4 5 6 5 7 6 5 4 1 2 3 2 7 2 1 3 4 6 7 5 4 6 5 4 5 3 4

These rings also produce the notes:

E F# G F# A G F# E B C# D C# A C# B D E G A F# E G F# E F# D E

After jumping through them in this sequence, you will be awarded the “I Would Have Been Your Daddy Skull”. It will be right next to the bridge that brings you over to the Prophet of
Truth.

NOTE: YOU MAY NEED TO KILL THE PROPHET OF TRUTH, AND THE FLOOD BEFORE DOING THE RING JUMPS!
Its better and faster.

* You can get the skull on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary.
* No skulls have to be active
* You can work as a team, have one person jump through a ring then another, provided they are in the correct order. This will speed things up for you.

ah well, i did all of em, and got all skulls

. took me 10 minutes.
