If you're lazy, here's what lukems says.
He's either talking about two things. The process in which you unlock the recon armor is through doing something with or on any type of gun that you can't shoot yourself. This could be the gun that hunter's have, the gun that scarabs have, or even the anti-air wraiths.
Or, he could be saying that it's out of our reach. He's referring to the armor variant as a gun, and us not having it as our inability to fire the gun. Only Bungie employees can fire that gun.
It's one of those two, and personally, I hope it's number two. For making such a great game, Bungie employees deserve to have the recon armor all to themselves. That way, when they play matchmaking, we can go like, "dude, that guys a Bungie dev. Thanks for making such a great game!" Also, it'll prevent those little kids from lying, "My dad works for bungie! I'll have you banned if you don't stop teasing me!" | Fucking noobs.
